To mark the publication of a ground breaking new book on employer engagement in education HM Treasury hosted a briefing session for senior officials and representatives from the world of education. The book contains contributions from leading UK and international scholars working across a range of fields many of whom first presented research at conferences and seminars arranged by the Education and Employers Taskforce.
Understanding Employer Engagement in Education: theories and evidence is a collection of essays edited by three leading researchers in the field: Dr Anthony Mann (Education and Employers Taskforce), Julian Stanley (University of Warwick) and Professor Louise Archer (King’s College, London) and includes contributions from researchers working at a wide range of institutions including the OECD, the Universities of Oxford, Manchester, Bath, Glasgow, Warwick, Alberta and Louisville, the UKCES and Harvard University.
