We are delighted to announce that we are launching a new campaign to inspire and educate children and young people on the range of opportunities within aviation. The ‘Inspiring Aviation’ campaign will be a part of our Inspiring the Future programme and is being funded by the Department for Transport’s Reach for the Sky initiative.
Throughout 2024, the campaign will work towards:
- Inspiring the next generation of aviation professionals
- Reaching individuals who would otherwise not be aware of the opportunities available in the industry
- Having a broad impact by reaching and engaging as many young people as possible
Inspiring Aviation will feature in-person and virtual activities for primary and secondary schools where volunteers from the industry will share their career stories, improve students’ knowledge of the world of work and help young people understand the importance of school subjects for future opportunities.
Inspiring the Future are excited to invite professionals from the aviation industry with an interest in volunteering to take part. Help us to dismantle barriers and support young people in finding their future by signing up to volunteer from as little as an hour a year.
