A new short film has just been launched, which shows how primary schools around the country are using Primary Futures to broaden children’s horizons and raise their aspirations. The four minute film produced in partnership with the National Association of Head Teachers, shows the impact volunteers form the world of work have on young people.
Filmed in a number of primary schools across the country, it shows interviews with teachers talking about why role models for children matter and from volunteers on what they have got out of it.
It also includes a short interview with Andreas Schleicher, Director of Education and Skills, OECD, who talks about the impact on the UK and linking the worlds of work and learning.
The film is being launched today in Bradford at the start of Inspiring Bradford week.
Share the video to help both schools and volunteers find out more about the Primary Futures campaign.
