We are delighted to announce that Education and Employers is an official partner of the OECD Forum 2019 and as a result has a number of places available.
This year’s Forum, World in EMotion, will reflect on the fact that we are experiencing a great deal of social, economic and political change, upheaval and disruption, largely amplified by the dual forces of digitalisation and globalisation. As one of the forum partners, Education and Employers will use our insight and knowledge to contribute to the debates and sessions throughout the event, focussing particularly on the dialogue surrounding education policy trends and opportunities.
Among its many themes, the forum will focus on how the digital transition can benefit growth and improve people’s well-being. Forum debates will include a strong focus on the Future of Work, including the type of education and skillset, safety nets and support networks that will provide the confidence and resilience needed to face the world of work. Speakers will also be discussing the potential of new technologies to help solve some of the world’s most challenging social and environmental problems, as well as the ethical dimensions and risks that must be carefully considered.
The forum brings together stakeholders from academia, business, civil society and government to share insights on how to tackle some of the biggest global issues we face today.
This year’s OECD Forum takes place on the 20-21 May 2019 at the OECD Conference Centre – Paris, France.
Due to limited space, OECD Forum attendance is by invitation. If you are interested in attending please get in touch with us.
