Clare is Director of Corporate Affairs at IAG which is a leading European airline group and the parent company to Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, Level and Vueling. British Airways alone employs around 40,000 people in the UK. She is responsible for leading corporate affairs on behalf of IAG including UK government affairs, international affairs and media communications across its key home markets, working directly with the IAG CEO and Management Committee.
She has 20 years’ experience across corporate and brand communications, digital and content, public and corporate affairs, and campaign planning and strategy. Prior to working at IAG, she worked in the global communications and external affairs team at international energy company, bp at a pivotal moment in rolling out the company’s new energy transition strategy. She has also worked in the UK technology sector for eBay UK. Clare is passionate about the need to inspire young people’s career choices. She has two school-age children and lives in London.
