Our 6th International Conference on Employer Engagement took place on 1st and 2nd July 2021. This year’s theme was ‘Preparing Young People for the Future’ and the conference, run in partnership with the Edge Foundation took place virtually for the first time. Going virtual meant we were able to welcome many more delegates and speakers from all over the world.
A grand total of 99 speakers presented on topics from vocational education and training to the impact of Covid-19, meeting role models at primary to international comparisons, and more.

Over the past 10 years we have built a free online Research Library which provides a comprehensive repository of the different and effective approaches to employer engagement and careers education. It brings together the latest thinking with selected research published over the past 40 years. Free to access and searchable by keyword, it features summaries of a wide range of studies with abstracts and links to the full reports. With research articles and reports from leading figures and education bodies, you can examine issues such as employer-led learning, youth employment, career related learning in primary schools, and social mobility, as well as information on gender, ethnicity and specific subjects. – visit the library.
